Boa Vista, one of Cape Verde's most fascinating islands, is famous for its breathtaking scenery, golden beaches and majestic dunes. This tour will immerse you in the island's natural beauty and local culture. Here's a detailed overview of this unforgettable adventure: The adventure begins in Sal Rei, the picturesque and colourful fishing village that is the island's capital. You'll have the chance to stroll through its typical alleyways, observe local life and discover its traditional architecture. The village is a perfect blend of Cape Verdean culture and island tranquillity. Afterwards, we'll take the road towards the famous Areão dunes. These impressive dunes, with their golden sand as far as the eye can see, are a true natural spectacle. Take a moment to relax and admire this unique landscape, ideal for photos. You can even try your hand at sand sliding if you're a thrill-seeker! After the dunes, head for one of Cape Verde's most famous beaches, Santa Monica Beach. Located on the south-west coast of the island, this beach stretches for several kilometres with its white sand and turquoise waters. A perfect place to relax, swim or simply enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. The island of Boa Vista is also a great place for wildlife watching. You'll have the chance to spot the sea turtles that come to lay their eggs on the island's beaches, particularly between August and October. Depending on the season and local conditions, you may also spot other species such as migratory birds and iguanas. Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the desert landscapes, volcanic mountains and breathtaking panoramas for which Boa Vista is famous. Includes: Local transport in comfortable minibus or 4x4, experienced English-speaking guide who will explain the history and particularities of each site visited, guided tours of the sites mentioned. Meals: Meals are not included in the excursion, but stops are planned to allow you to sample the local cuisine or take a break in some of the more convivial places.
