In the morning, you'll embark on a boat trip to Santo Antão, the ultimate nature island. Head for the verdant heights of Cova Natural Park. An accessible walk awaits you in the Água das Caldeiras forest, amidst pine trees, eucalyptus trees, and volcanic panoramas. Children will be delighted to meet the donkeys, faithful companions of the mountain dwellers. At the end of the day, you'll head to the peaceful village of Coculi for a restorative night.

Overnight at the Green Place Hotel, Coculi

Immerse yourself in local life with a day on a farm! You'll learn how to prepare a typical meal: homemade jams, natural juices, fresh cheese, and more. After cooking, it's time to explore the fields and animals. A friendly barbecue and a swim in the pool surrounded by greenery complete this unforgettable family day.

Overnight at the Green Place Hotel, Coculi

After breakfast, you'll visit the Coculi school for a moment of sharing and exchange with the Cape Verdean children. Games, songs, dances, and smiles are on the agenda! In the afternoon, head to Fontainhas, a village perched on the mountainside, renowned for its colorful houses and spectacular ocean views. An easy stroll allows you to fully enjoy this magical place.

Overnight at Residencial Djassy or similar

Start the day with a beautiful stroll through the famous Paul Valley, a veritable green oasis. There, you'll sample local specialties at a local's home and visit a traditional rum distillery.

At the end of the day, drive to Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, a small fishing village at the other end of the island, bordered by a magnificent black sand beach.

Night at Hotel Vista Tarrafal or Pensão Amizade

This morning, you'll meet the village's fishermen. After a demonstration of their ancestral techniques, you'll board a small boat to try your hand at line or net fishing. Return to shore for lunch with the day's catch, grilled the local way, right on the sand!

Night at Hotel Vista Tarrafal or Pensão Amizade

After a final morning in Santo Antão, you'll take the boat back to Mindelo. In the afternoon, you'll experience a unique experience in São Pedro: swimming with sea turtles in their natural environment.

Then, you will explore Mindelo freely before closing your trip with an introductory capoeira workshop with a local association – a fun and sporty way to immerse yourself in Afro-Atlantic cultures!
